Prerequisites for registration in lower-division Chemistry, 英语, 数学, and Modern Language classes are based upon the following minimum exam scores as well as prior classes completed. Students should submit 行为, 坐, and 大学 Board AP exam scores to the 招生 Office for inclusion with their application. 英语 and Modern Languages offer placement exams for their subject. Students should discuss placement with their academic advisors to ensure they are meeting their degree requirements and registering for the appropriate classes.
化学111 placement by one of the following ways:
- Minimum 行为 math score of 25
- Minimum 坐 math score of 560 (taken before March 2016)
- Minimum 坐 math score of 580 (taken after March 2016)
- Minimum 亚历克斯 math score of 46
- Minimum grade of C in MATH 143, 160, or 170
- Minimum grade of C in CHEM 101
- Pass Chemistry Placement Exam (查看测试日期)
Undergraduate students are required to be enrolled in 英语 101, 101P, or 102 their first semester in residence and in subsequent semesters until completing 英语 102.

Students who complete 英语 102 will automatically receive credit for 英语 101. Students who are exempt, will receive credit for both 英语 101 and 102 after completion of their first semester. Credit is awarded with a grade of Pass which does not affect the student's GPA. Transfer credit is awarded for CEEB AP exam scores; institutional credit is awarded for sufficient 行为 and 坐 scores.

Students should speak with their academic advisor regarding the most appropriate 数学 class for them.
